Aggression is serious business!
We do not run from it like most - we face it head on.
But because of the link between the human's
behaviors and the dog's problem, Gwendy Joysen
& Balanced Canine reserve the right to refuse
admission to any dog or human for any reason.
Many dogs are not properly educated as the individuals
that they are. Between this and a lack of communication
and leadership, dogs develop troubling behavioral
problems. When these inevitable difficult  challenges
arise, the dog is usually unfairly judged as s/he fails to
comply with the typical rules of thumb. Balanced Canine
gets to the root of your dog’s strengths, fears  &
weaknesses & taps into her/his potential with awareness
and understanding; authority not dominance. Leadership
and inspiration, not control.

It is our intention in all that we do here at   Balanced
Canine to help you and your dog overcome obstacles &
create a more peaceful relationship and atmosphere for
your entire family—dog included!
Aggression & Dominance Problems

Dogs with aggression and dominance problems present an added challenge to daily living and ruin the possibilities of including your dog
in many activities, all dog sports and a great deal of fun, not to mention the legal risks involved. At
Balanced Canine, we are well versed
in these challenges, their causes and how to correct them. Most dogs are capable of significant or complete recovery, though most often
the human has to go through a bit of self reflection and behavioral changes as well. This is not to say the human always shares the
aggressive behavior. More often, it is the human's lack of leadership skills, behavior education or consistence that causes the aggressive
behavior in their dog. We have created a program designed specifically for these behaviors in which we break down the pieces of the
puzzle, correct the problems and put it all back together again in a functional manner, leaving you with a thoughtful and well rounded canine
partner and you with the skill to manage these problems better in the future.
